Skateboarding gained traction post its debut at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Despite growth, female skateboarders face limited sponsorships due to misconceptions about their skill compared to males. To challenge this bias, we developed a performance data tool showcasing the true abilities of female skateboarders. Beyond gender disparities, this technology aims to revolutionise competitive sports, reducing unconscious biases in judging and commentary. By providing accurate data, it seeks to level the playing field, promoting improved representation for athletes of all genders and abilities.
